Primrose J3 after claiming the senior and grand champion Murray Grey female awards then went on to claim the supreme interbreed female title. "I think she's absolutely magic" Mr McIntosh said. "She's only 30 months and she's calved; she has fantastic shape, is just so sound and free moving and with natural carriage. She is a great example of the breed"

A 4.5-month-old Murray Grey bull calf Bottlesford Kentucky, shown by G&JR&DJ Koopman, Bottlesford, Tungkillo, and already showing plenty of stud sire potential was grand champion in the SA Young Beef Breeders’ Calf Classic.

For the second time in four years, Gerald, Jeanette and Darren Koopman, Bottlesford stud, Tungkillo, won the red and white sash for a cow and calf combination in the Murray Grey section.

It was the fourth time in six years they had won the sash for grand champion female.

They capped off their victory with the most successful exhibitor award.
