Beef producers in the Mid Murray had the opportunity to participate in Meat & Livestock Australia’s (MLA) BredWell FedWell workshop. Focussed on profit driver’s, the workshop zooms in on how to make the most out of genetics and nutrition to have a positive impact on your bottom line.
BredWell FedWell, which follow’s the annual production cycle, lifts the lid on recent research and helps producers apply the outcomes of genetics and nutrition research within their businesses.
Sponsored by the Barossa Improved Grazing Group (BIGG) and Nutrien Ag Solutions Fawcett Livestock, the interactive, on-farm workshop was held at Bottlesford and delivered by Jake Phillips on 17 November and attended by an enthusiastic group of beef producers from the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, the Fleurieu and York Peninsula.
